What You’ll Do
- Oversee the administration of Human Resource Management services to ensure operational excellence
- Develop and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR policies
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on legislation and HR practices
- Monitor and control the budget for the Human Resource component
- Manage initiatives aimed at promoting staff well-being and effective labour relations
- Ensure the establishment of fully functional employee health and wellness programmes
- Coordinate HR committees, including Labour Committee Meetings and Occupational Health and Safety meetings
- Ensure timely submission of HR-related reports and information
- Manage the allocation and utilization of resources within the HR section
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
- Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Administration
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource Management environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Valid Driver’s License
- Comprehensive knowledge of Public Service Regulations and Acts
- Strong project management and strategic planning skills
- Expert understanding of HR practices within a health service delivery environment
- High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office applications and advanced PERSAL skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
