What You’ll Do
- Conduct security control and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Provide security for all equipment, buildings, and premises associated with the Compensation Fund.
- Carry out regular patrols to monitor activities and ensure a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to incidents, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
- Manage access control to public premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Uphold the principles of customer service according to Batho Pele principles.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Valid Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) Grade C certificate.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation including the OHS Act and Criminal Procedure Act.
- Understanding of security operations, risk management, and ethics in governance.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality assurance and service innovation.
