What You’ll Do
- Perform access and egress control at various facilities
- Conduct internal and external patrols to ensure safety
- Provide an asset protection service to safeguard property
- Carry out effective incident reporting to maintain security standards
- Operate control room security equipment efficiently
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of NQF level 4 qualification
- PSIRA registration at a minimum Grade C
- A valid code B (or higher) driving license
- Knowledge of access control procedures and prescribed security protocols
- Skills in numeracy, computer literacy, and effective communication (both written and verbal)
- Understanding of relevant emergency procedures and the authority of security officers

Requirements
NQF level 4; PSIRA registration minimum Grade C; A valid code B (or higher) driving license.Competencies: Knowledge and understanding of the following: Access control procedures; Measures for the control and movement of equipment and stores; Prescribed security procedures (MIS, NISA, Protection of Information Act, etc.
) and the authority of security officers under these documents; Relevant emergency procedures; Skills in the following: Numeracy; Computer literacy; Operating equipment and Communication (written and verbal).
