What You’ll Do
- Monitor activities at access control points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Supervise the control room to detect any unlawful movements within and around the building.
- Provide frontline services to assist both internal and external clients.
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the Durban Labour Centre to ensure compliance with safety measures.
- Manage all deliveries at the Labour Centre to guarantee security protocols are followed.
What You’ll Need
- A Matriculation / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Department of Labour’s policies and procedures, and relevant Acts (e.g., Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act, Criminal Procedure Act).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in conflict management and computer literacy.
