What You’ll Do

  • Perform security and guard duties to ensure the protection of premises.
  • Monitor and authorize access at entrances to various venues and areas.
  • Patrol buildings and grounds to maintain overall safety and security.
  • Conduct administrative tasks related to security operations.
  • Guard vehicles, equipment, and workshops to prevent theft or damage.
  • Observe, monitor alarms, and investigate any disturbances or irregularities.
  • Escort visitors to and from premises safely.
  • Record movements and actions within and outside of the secured area.

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • South African citizenship with the necessary documentation.
  • A Grade 10/Standard 8/NCV Level 2 Certificate or equivalent documentation.
  • Valid registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
  • A Grade C security certificate or higher.
  • Willingness to undergo firearm competency training and maintain certification.
  • Knowledge of access control procedures and relevant security protocols.
  • A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is advantageous.
  • Availability to work shifts and extended hours as required.
