What You’ll Do

  • Manage Labour Relations functions, including disciplinary processes and grievances.
  • Provide advisory and support services to management and staff on Labour Relations matters.
  • Facilitate Human Resource Development initiatives, including training coordination and skills development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation, policies, and collective agreements.
  • Liaise with organised labour and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Compile reports, maintain records, and monitor HR-related performance indicators.
  • Supervise and provide support to staff within the People Management component.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, and Human Resource Development policies in the Public Sector.
  • Proven supervisory and management experience.
  • A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence and a willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Labour Relations Act and Skills Development Act.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse statistical and financial information.
