What You’ll Do

• Control admission to premises by verifying the identity of officers, employees, visitors, and maintenance personnel.
• Issue and manage visitor admission control cards and maintain a visitor’s register.
• Inspect supplies and objects brought onto the premises to ensure safety standards are met.
• Regulate vehicle access to fenced-off areas.
• Patrol buildings and surrounding areas to maintain security.
• Supervise cleaning and maintenance personnel from a security perspective.
• Conduct checks on security equipment and report any deficiencies to senior security staff.
• Assist security officers with their duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Competency in core security functions and procedures.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
• South African citizenship with documentary proof required on the interview day.
• A minimum education level of Grade 10/Standard 8/NCV level 2 certificate.
• Valid registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and a Grade C security certificate or higher.
• Willingness to undergo firearm competency training and maintain certification.
• Relevant security-related courses will be advantageous.
• A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts and extended hours as required.
