What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial and receptionist support to the Director.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals.
  • Maintain the Director’s diary, recording appointments and engagements.
  • Prepare documents for the senior manager and other staff members.
  • Operate office equipment, including computers and photocopiers.
  • Liaise with travel agencies and arrange travel logistics.
  • Organize meetings and events, including venue selection and scheduling.
  • Process travel and subsistence claims for the unit.
  • Handle invoicing related to the senior manager’s activities.
  • Record and draft minutes for meetings as required.
  • Administer clerical tasks, including maintaining leave registers and documentation management.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and sound organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact with diverse individuals.
  • A tactful and discreet approach to handling confidential information.
