What You’ll Do

  • Request quotations from relevant suppliers in accordance with SCM prescripts and CIDB practice notes.
  • Ensure that goods and services are procured in compliance with SCM policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and draft advertisements for the Government Tender Bulletin and other relevant platforms.
  • Assist with the advertisement and closing of bids.
  • Provide secretarial support to the Bid Committees and compile meeting minutes.
  • Prepare recommendation submissions for the Regional Bid Adjudication Committee.
  • Offer administrative support and liaise regarding procurement-related processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement-related legislation.
  • Familiarity with government procurement systems and processes.
  • Understanding of the Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations.
  • Awareness of the Code of Conduct for supply chain management practitioners.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and numeracy.
  • Personal attributes such as analytical thinking, high ethical standards, and the ability to work under pressure.
