What You’ll Do

  • Invite quotations from suppliers based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Maintain and update the suppliers database regularly.
  • Generate orders using the Logis system.
  • Manage the administration of suppliers’ transversal contracts and department cell phone contracts.
  • Compile reports on order transactions for review.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients regarding suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with provisioning policies for goods and services.
  • Assist with stock checks of the e-class accountability store.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a National Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
  • No previous experience required, making this an excellent entry into public service.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of the PFMA and PPPFA, along with other relevant supply chain management legislation.
  • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
