What You’ll Do

• Review and analyze geohydrological information to support waste management license applications.
• Develop methodologies and policies for geohydrological information products.
• Gather and disseminate geohydrological data to aid in application reviews.
• Provide support in approving engineering designs for licensed facilities.
• Process registrations according to National Norms and Standards.
• Review climate change studies related to waste license applications.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s of Science Honours degree recognized by SAQA.
• Three (3) years of post-qualification experience in natural science.
• Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a professional Natural Scientist.
• Knowledge of climate change adaptation and mitigation.
• Understanding of pollution and waste management policy and legislation.
• Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
