The Department of Agriculture is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the role of Assistant Director: Human Resource Development (HRD) based in Mopani West. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Manage the performance assessment process and the distribution of incentives.
- Facilitate the implementation of Skills Development initiatives.
- Oversee training development processes and related programs.
- Coordinate learnership and internship programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant NQF level 6 qualification in Human Resources Management/Development as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience, with at least three (3) years in a management or supervisory role.
- A valid driver’s license (not required for candidates with disabilities).
- Strong knowledge of the Public Service legislative environment and related policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
