What You’ll Do

  • Monitor conditions of service for Employment of Educators and Public Service staff.
  • Oversee the capturing and processing of employee benefits such as housing allowances, leaves, and pensions.
  • Ensure accurate management of staff terminations, including updating resignation transactions on electronic databases.
  • Approve or disapprove conditions of service transactions on PERSAL.
  • Compile and present monthly statistical and management reports to relevant stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 6 qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management is advantageous.
  • A certificate in PERSAL is preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Record Management or a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license is required (except for candidates with disabilities).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
