What You’ll Do

  • Supervise the registry counter services to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Manage an effective filing and record management service.
  • Ensure proper operation of office machinery related to registry functions.
  • Supervise the processing of documents for archiving and disposal.
  • Lead and support employees in maintaining sound records management practices.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 qualification along with an NQF Level 6 qualification in Records Management, Public Management, Administration, Archival Studies, Library and Information Management, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in registry duties.
  • A valid driver’s license (not required for candidates with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of registry practices, data capture, and computer operations.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Skills in planning, organization, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
