What You’ll Do

  • Manage registry operations to achieve planned outcomes effectively.
  • Provide friendly and efficient counter services to clients.
  • Attend to telephonic and other inquiries promptly.
  • Receive, register, and sort hand-delivered mail and files.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Render an efficient filing and record management service.
  • Open and close files according to the established record classification system.
  • Trace and retrieve documents and files both electronically and manually.
  • Operate office machines related to registry functions.
  • Process documents for archiving and disposal as required.
  • Compile lists of documents to be archived and submit them to your supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records for archived documents.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate is essential.
  • Knowledge of registry duties and practices, including data capturing.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer and understanding data management.
  • Familiarity with the legislative framework governing public service.
  • Competence in storage and retrieval procedures.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal skills that foster teamwork and collaboration.
