Takora is seeking a Refractory Manager with extensive experience in refractory maintenance within the steelmaking industry. This position requires strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to oversee refractory operations and prevent material failures.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the highest technical standards are met in refractory maintenance activities.
Prevent any catastrophic refractory material failures.
Lead and motivate the employees within the refractory section.
Align refractory activities with prescribed plans and requirements.
Requirements
N6 or S4 qualification in Ceramic or Metallurgy.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in refractory maintenance in a steelmaking environment.
Demonstrated technical proficiency aligned with industry best practices.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
