What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and printer issues.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
- Implement software and network configuration changes as needed.
- Offer support for mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
- Manage end-user support and address account management issues.
- Participate in various IT projects and initiatives.
- Support audio and visual hardware and platforms.
- Test, diagnose, repair, and maintain computer equipment.
- Ensure timely resolution of logged support calls.
- Travel as necessary to deliver user support on-site.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification in IT at NQF level 6 or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of information and communication technology infrastructure.
- Familiarity with network operating systems and software configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Microsoft products.
- Proficient in Active Directory and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong report writing and computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Requirements
Three-year tertiary qualification in IT at NQF level 6 and/or equivalent qualifications.2-4 years’ experience in IT Support or applicable to the relevant discipline.
Driver’s license.

Job Duties
Support the desktop, laptop, printers and automation function.Support the provincial network infrastructure.
Implementation of software, application, configuration and network changes (Release Management).
Offer Support for Mobile Devices Connectivity.
Offer Support for Peripheral Devices.
End user support and account management.
Participate in projects.
Support audio and visual platform and hardware.
Test, diagnose, repair, and maintain computing equipment.
Ensure that all calls logged are resolved within the required time.
Travel to provide user support.
