What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement purchasing plans and strategies.
  • Procure goods and services that satisfy user requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
  • Administer the flow of orders and manage invoicing processes.
  • Process requisitions and monitor the quality assurance of incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Conduct stock-taking and maintain accurate records of stock issuance and receipt.
  • Coordinate the disposal of damaged stock and ensure alignment with LOGIS.
  • Prepare purchase requests based on identified needs and ensure appropriate stock counts.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification at NQF level 6 or an equivalent qualification in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement Management.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (not required for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, Acts, policies, and procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in report writing.
  • A commitment to honesty, confidentiality, and customer care.
