In this position, you will be responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of the hospital’s outdoor spaces, which are not just aesthetically pleasing but also contribute to the overall healing environment of the facility. What You’ll Do

• Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it is well-kept and vibrant.
• Clean the surroundings, including parking areas and pathways.
• Prepare soil for planting and care for trees, flowers, shrubs, and grass.
• Remove weeds and perform general landscaping tasks.
• Water gardens and maintain outdoor equipment effectively.
• Assist with moving furniture as needed for various hospital functions.
• Follow safety regulations while performing all duties.
• Execute any other responsibilities assigned by your supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• ABET level 4 or NQF level 1 to 3.
• Physically strong and healthy, able to handle demanding tasks.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and working under pressure.
• Preferable experience in gardening or a formal cleaning environment.
• Willingness to rotate between different areas as the need arises.
