What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it remains vibrant and welcoming.
  • Clean and tidy the hospital surroundings, including pathways and parking areas.
  • Prepare soil for planting and take care of trees, flowers, shrubs, and grass.
  • Remove weeds and maintain the cleanliness of flower beds.
  • Move lawns, plant trees, and ensure regular watering of the gardens.
  • Operate and care for garden machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with the removal and collection of assets from various areas.
  • Clean gutters and adhere to safety regulations while executing tasks.
  • Carry out any additional duties as delegated by your supervisor.

What You’ll Need

  • ABET Level 4 or NQF Level 1 to 3.
  • A strong and healthy physical condition to manage demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Preferable experience in gardening or formal cleaning environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
  • Willingness to rotate to different areas as needed.
