What You’ll Do

• Maintain and develop the facility garden, ensuring it is well-kept and inviting.
• Clean the hospital surroundings to provide a hygienic environment for all.
• Prepare soil for planting and maintain trees, flowers, shrubs, and grass in the garden.
• Remove weeds and ensure the garden beds are tidy.
• Move lawns, plant trees and other plants, and water gardens regularly.
• Maintain and clean parking areas and pathways.
• Move furniture as needed to assist with hospital operations.
• Care for gardening machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Remove and collect assets from various areas as required.
• Clean gutters and adhere to safety regulations while performing duties.
• Execute any other tasks delegated by the supervisor as necessary.

What You’ll Need

• ABET level 4 or NQF level 1 to 3.
• A physically strong and healthy individual, capable of meeting the physical demands of the role.
• Experience in gardening or a formal cleaning environment is preferable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Willingness to rotate to different areas as required.
