What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care.
• Implement programs that support positive health outcomes in oncology nursing.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Act as a shift leader when required, overseeing nursing staff and patient care.
• Participate in internal rotations within the oncology specialty to meet patient requirements.
• Manage night duty responsibilities as per hospital requirements.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12/Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
• A minimum of 1 year post-basic qualification in Oncology Nursing (R212).
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse and in Oncology Nursing Specialty.
• At least 4 years of recognizable post-registration experience as a General Nurse.
• Proven experience in oncology nursing, with a minimum of 10 years in this specialty after obtaining the post-basic qualification.
