What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care.
- Implement programs that support positive health outcomes in oncology nursing.
- Perform nursing duties in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Act as a shift leader when required, overseeing nursing staff and patient care.
- Participate in internal rotations within the oncology specialty to meet patient requirements.
- Manage night duty responsibilities as per hospital requirements.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
- A minimum of 1 year post-basic qualification in Oncology Nursing (R212).
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse and in Oncology Nursing Specialty.
- At least 4 years of recognizable post-registration experience as a General Nurse.
- Proven experience in oncology nursing, with a minimum of 10 years in this specialty after obtaining the post-basic qualification.
