What You’ll Do
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring that their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Implement holistic clinical and elementary nursing practices following established standards and guidelines.
- Utilize human and financial resources effectively to enhance the quality of health services.
- Engage in continuous professional development and maintain ethical standards in nursing practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate information management and documentation to support nursing and healthcare operations.
What You’ll Need
- A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse is mandatory.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate nursing experience post-registration.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Community Oriented Primary Care is advantageous.
