What You’ll Do

  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards.
  • Efficiently manage nursing resources while maintaining professional ethical standards.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • For Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years of recognisable experience in general nursing after SANC registration.
  • For Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years of recognisable experience in general nursing after SANC registration.
  • Willingness to work overtime and rotate within the hospital as required.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing care processes and relevant legal and ethical practices.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in report writing.
