What You’ll Do

  • Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting.
  • Maintain ethical practice within the legal and regulatory frameworks guiding nursing.

  • Efficiently utilize human, material, and physical resources in nursing practice.

What You’ll Need

  • A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
  • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or General Nurse.
  • For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of nursing experience post-registration with SANC in General Nursing.
  • For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration with SANC in General Nursing.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including day and night duties, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel) and knowledge of Community Oriented Primary Care.
  • Strong conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
