What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical nursing practice according to established nursing standards and policies.
- Promote and ensure high-quality nursing care aligned with the National Core Standards and Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, including report writing when necessary.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Organize and plan your work and that of support personnel to ensure efficient nursing service delivery.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring they receive proper treatment and care, in line with the Batho Pele principles.
- Manage resources effectively within your unit to maintain optimal service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 and a basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) (Diploma/Degree in General Nursing) or an equivalent qualification for registration as a Professional Nurse.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity for problem-solving and decision-making.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse populations.
