What You’ll Do

• Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity
• Provide elementary clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses
• Maintain professional growth and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare
• Utilize physical and financial resources effectively to support hospital operations
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance nursing skills
• Rotate to different departments as required, adapting to various patient needs

What You’ll Need

• Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant
• Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant
• For Grade 1: No prior experience required
• For Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years appropriate experience in nursing
• For Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years appropriate experience in nursing
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge of nursing practices, infection prevention, and control measures
• Basic computer literacy and ability to interpret clinical signs and symptoms
• Physical capability to lift and turn patients, stand for long hours, and handle heavy equipment
