What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive health care services in the Nephrology Unit, ensuring quality patient care.
• Implement and supervise patient care standards according to established protocols.
• Manage resources effectively and ensure that all equipment is functional and ready for use.
• Participate in quality improvement programs aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Report safety incidents and challenges within the unit to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to foster constructive working relationships.
• Prioritize and coordinate patient management activities in accordance with nursing protocols.
• Engage in staff development and performance management initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Basic qualification accredited with the SANC (Diploma/Degree in General Nursing).
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Nephrology Nursing Science.
• For Grade 1: Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Professional Nurse.
• For Grade 2: Minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Professional Nurse, with at least ten (10) years in the nephrology specialty.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function independently and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
