What You’ll Do

• Design new electrical systems to address practical engineering challenges.
• Plan, operate, and maintain engineering projects while adhering to standards.
• Develop cost-effective engineering solutions and evaluate existing technical documentation.
• Create tender specifications and ensure compliance with engineering norms and standards.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, technologists, and candidate engineers.
• Administer performance management and facilitate human capital development.
• Manage resources, monitor expenditure, and ensure adherence to procurement regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with new technologies.
• Conduct research to enhance engineering expertise and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate Electrical Engineering Degree (B Eng/BSc (Eng)) or relevant qualification.
• At least three years of post-qualification engineering experience.
• Compulsory registration with ECSA as a professional engineer.
• A valid code B driving license.
• Strong competencies in project management, engineering design, and technical report writing.
• Excellent decision-making, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage resources effectively and communicate clearly.
