What You’ll Do

• Render technical services to support engineering and technical activities.
• Assist Engineers and Technologists in various field, workshop, and office tasks.
• Promote safety standards in alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and update technical manuals, drawings, and procedures.
• Prepare technical designs and specifications for evaluation and approval.
• Contribute to the budgeting process with relevant inputs.
• Compile and submit necessary reports and documentation.
• Develop and maintain technical databases, supervising technical personnel.
• Engage in research and development to keep up with new technologies.
• Participate in continuous professional development and liaise with relevant engineering bodies.

What You’ll Need

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
• Three years of relevant post-qualification technical (Engineering) experience.
• Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineering Technician.
• A valid Code B driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of project management, technical design, and analysis.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and computer-aided engineering tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
