What You’ll Do

• Manage and promote HIV/AIDS, STI, and TB prevention initiatives.
• Coordinate the provision of treatment, care, and support for HIV/AIDS and TB.
• Establish governance structures for effective implementation and monitoring of health programs.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with national frameworks.
• Supervise resources, including human capital and equipment, to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor budget implementation and provide accurate financial reporting.
• Facilitate an enabling environment for individuals living with HIV/AIDS to lead healthy lives.
• Promote adherence to HIV counselling and testing, especially for those affected by TB.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce vulnerability to HIV and TB infections.

What You’ll Need

• A National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Science, Social Sciences, HIV Management, Psychology, or Social Behaviour Studies in HIV.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa or the South African Council for Social Services Professions.
• 3-5 years of experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and stakeholder relationship management.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking, research, and policy formulation.
• Understanding of DPSA and GPG policies and procedures, relevant legislation, and public service regulations.
