What You’ll Do

  • Generate and manage all printing jobs, including sensitive and non-sensitive materials.
  • Oversee the composition and layout of print jobs to meet specified requirements.
  • Ensure sound management of the digipath system, including archiving and retrieving files.
  • Provide advice to clients on printing formats, layouts, and finishing requirements.
  • Receive and check exam papers digitally, ensuring proper sequence and integrity.
  • Destroy damaged or spoiled question papers as per protocol.
  • Prepare and dispatch printed documentation, including non-sensitive documents.
  • Monitor quality control of printed materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist with security measures at access points in the printing room.
  • Support public interactions during entrance and exit processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 10 (or equivalent) qualification.
  • A certificate in Digital and Analogical Copier operation.
  • Knowledge of operating digital printers, plastic wrapping devices, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Understanding of cultural protocols and public relations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
