What You’ll Do

  • Plan and manage nursing services to ensure optimal quality of care
  • Coordinate and supervise nursing staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency
  • Monitor and manage clinical financial resources to maintain budgetary compliance
  • Initiate and participate in training programs for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge

  • Deliver support services to the Nursing Service and the institution as required

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualifying for SANC registration as a Professional Nurse
  • A post-basic nursing qualification in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • A minimum of 9 years relevant nursing experience after SANC registration, with at least 5 years post-basic qualification experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to nursing specialties
