What You’ll Do

• Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
• Investigate and finalize incidents and complaints related to workplace safety, enforcing regulations as needed.
• Prepare and present reports based on inspection findings, consolidating data for regional analysis.
• Conduct advocacy campaigns to promote awareness of labour legislation among employers and employees.
• Collaborate on the development of regional inspection plans and contribute to the analysis of safety statistics.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate and a three-year recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering at NQF level 6/7.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Registration with a recognized professional body is an advantage but not mandatory.
