What You’ll Do

• Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
• Investigate incidents and complaints, finalising reports and enforcing compliance as necessary.
• Prepare and present statistical reports on inspection findings and regional cases.
• Conduct advocacy campaigns to promote understanding of labour legislation.
• Appear in court as a state witness when required.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of regional inspection plans.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate along with a recognised three-year qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, and Unemployment Insurance Act.
• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict-handling abilities.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and report writing.
