What You’ll Do

• Conduct independent inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Confirm registration with the Unemployment Insurance Act and the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
• Investigate and resolve reported incidents and complaints related to OHS legislation.
• Plan and execute proactive inspections and compile detailed reports on compliance.
• Develop and conduct advocacy campaigns to raise awareness on labour legislation.
• Contribute to the planning and maintenance of regional inspection plans and statistical reports on cases.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate plus a three-year recognised qualification at NQF 6/7 in Electrical Engineering.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of departmental policies, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and relevant regulations.
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy and report compilation.
• Skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving.
