What You’ll Do

  • Provide executive and strategic support to the Secretary for Police Service.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Document Management System for the office.
  • Coordinate correspondence management, ensuring submissions are screened and prioritized.
  • Compile and collate monthly progress and performance reports.
  • Develop protocols for the effective functioning of the office in line with internal policies.
  • Provide Secretariat services for high-level meetings, including EXCO and MANCO.
  • Liaise with the Ministry and other stakeholders for timely submissions of performance documents.
  • Supervise junior staff and learners within the Executive Support Directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6) in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in Office Administration or an Executive Administrative environment, including three years at Assistant Director Level.
  • Strong knowledge of Government Systems and Structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in office administration and management practices.
  • Ability to manage information and formal government reporting systems effectively.
  • Project management skills and the ability to interact with senior management.
  • Willingness to work under pressure and flexibility to travel when required.
