What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the placement of students into suitable job opportunities
- Conduct job readiness training programs to prepare students for the workforce
- Liaise with various stakeholders in commerce and industry for collaborative efforts
- Maintain and update the student tracking system and employer placement database
- Develop quality electronic reports and statistical analyses on placements
- Monitor and evaluate work placement practices to ensure effectiveness
- Conduct work-based assessments for students to gauge their readiness
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12/NCV level 4 or equivalent qualification
- National Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Public Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in employment services or an administration environment
- Knowledge of employment services, public service prescripts, and DHET policies
- Proficiency in computer literacy and a valid driver’s license
- Strong communication, networking, negotiation, interpersonal, and planning skills
