What You’ll Do

  • Monitor compliance and financial management of funds allocated to CBOs and NGOs.
  • Coordinate and oversee the entire NPO funding cycle.
  • Provide guidance and support to CBOs to enhance financial accountability.
  • Identify irregularities and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Screen and monitor financial files, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
  • Collect financial reports from NPOs and compile intervention reports.
  • Supervise staff members and ensure adherence to departmental policies.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate plus a National Diploma in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, or Public Management (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experience in managing NPO budgets.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong monitoring and evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Strong report writing skills and day-to-day administration capabilities.

Requirements

Grade 12 plus an appropriate National Diploma in Financial Management/Economics/Accounting/ Public Management (NQF Level 6) as recognised by SAQA.

A Minimum of 1-2 years relevant working experience in 175 NPO and budget.

Driver’s licence.

Job Duties

Monitor compliance and management funds provided to CBO and NGOs in line with financial guidelines.

Coordinate and monitoring the NPO funding cycle.

Provide support and guidance to CBOs to ensure effective financial and accountability.

Identify irregularities and refer them to the relevant section, implement corrective measures: Screening/monitoring all the financial files, collect financial reports from the NPOs, check all the required documents and compile intervention report.

Salary

R338 106 per annum (Level 07)
