What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate international dialogues to strengthen foreign investment opportunities.
  • Coordinate the implementation of memorandums of understanding with sister governments abroad.
  • Promote and consolidate the African Agenda through effective relationship management.
  • Manage and coordinate international projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Organize and coordinate international visits to enhance diplomatic ties.
  • Maintain and update the database of international missions for effective tracking and reporting.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year tertiary qualification in International Relations, Political Sciences, Economics, or a related field at NQF level 6.
  • A minimum of six years’ experience in International Relations, with at least three years at Assistant Director level.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of government prescripts, financial administration, and international law and policy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects and events effectively.
  • Competence in negotiation and change management, as well as a solid understanding of South African foreign policy and multilateral institutions.
