What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered ENT services across the Rural Central Ecosystem.
- Engage in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Teach and mentor students and junior staff at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct outreach programs to enhance service delivery in rural areas.
- Effectively manage financial and physical resources while adhering to corporate governance standards.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Grade 1: No experience required post-registration.
- Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- Valid driver’s license (Code B/E or higher) and willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work overtime and shifts as needed, and availability during Major Incidents.
- Proven competency in managing Otorhinolaryngology cases independently and experience in quality improvement and research methodology.
