What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered ENT services across the Rural Central Ecosystem.
• Engage in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach and mentor students and junior staff at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct outreach programs to enhance service delivery in rural areas.
• Effectively manage financial and physical resources while adhering to corporate governance standards.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.
• Grade 1: No experience required post-registration.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• Valid driver’s license (Code B/E or higher) and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work overtime and shifts as needed, and availability during Major Incidents.
• Proven competency in managing Otorhinolaryngology cases independently and experience in quality improvement and research methodology.
