What You’ll Do

  • Input, analyze, and retrieve health data to improve clinical processes.
  • Develop and enhance digital patient management tools to support clinicians.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the functionality and quality of health data systems.
  • Analyze complex healthcare problems and present innovative solutions to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of clinical applications.
  • Deliver effective communications and updates to various organizational levels.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Valid registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Experience requirements vary by grade:
  • Grade 1: No experience required for South African qualified practitioners; one year for foreign qualified practitioners.
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years for South African practitioners; 6 years for foreign qualified practitioners.
  • Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years for South African practitioners; 11 years for foreign qualified practitioners.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud technology, data visualization software, and health information systems.
