What You’ll Do

  • Manage and update the college’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Liaise with campuses to ensure accurate representation of all sites on social media.
  • Monitor and maintain the college website to ensure relevant information is accessible.
  • Collect and archive press clippings from various media publications.
  • Conduct quarterly surveys targeting specific groups and compile reports based on findings.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the marketing section to help meet deadlines and decrease workload.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with Computer as a passed subject, or an NCV Level 4 Certificate in Marketing.
  • An N6 Certificate or Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations is advantageous.
  • At least one year of work experience in a marketing or communication environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media practices and channels, stakeholder management, and branding.
  • Skills in planning, organizing, administration, communication, problem-solving, and project management.
  • Strong computer literacy and client-oriented mindset.
