What You’ll Do

  • Manage and update the college’s social media platforms regularly.
  • Liaise with various campuses to ensure accurate representation of all sites online.
  • Monitor and maintain the college website for relevant updates.
  • Collect and archive press clippings from print media and online sources.
  • Conduct quarterly surveys to gather insights from targeted groups.
  • Compile detailed reports on survey findings for section presentations.
  • Utilize survey results to enhance marketing strategies and address weaknesses.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the marketing section to help meet deadlines.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 with Computer as a passed subject or NCV Level 4 Certificate in Marketing.
  • N6 Certificate or Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations is advantageous.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a Marketing or Communication environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media practices and channels.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management and branding importance across various channels.
  • Skills in planning, organization, administration, and financial management.
  • Proficient in report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and an orientation towards client service are essential.
  • Project management and problem-solving abilities will be beneficial.
