What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate the compilation of ward profiles to inform service delivery strategies.
  • Identify and address community concerns by engaging with residents directly.
  • Monitor household visits to ensure service delivery is responsive and effective.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote community development initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying service delivery cases that require immediate attention.

What You’ll Need

  • A Matric certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Community Development, Public Administration, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Community Development Programme.
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant prescripts and legislative frameworks governing public service, including the Employment Equity Act and the Public Service Act.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • A self-motivated attitude with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
