What You’ll Do

  • Manage and render conditions of service and remuneration for employees, including leave, housing, and medical matters.
  • Implement procedures for termination of services in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection services, including job advertisements, appointments, and interview secretariat functions.
  • Supervise human resource management activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain organized record-keeping of personnel data, policies, and circulars.
  • Prepare and provide monthly reports on various HR metrics.
  • Conduct leave audits and handle audit request documentation.
  • Respond to personnel inquiries and manage related correspondence.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or Development.
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a Human Resource Management or administrative role.
  • Relevant PERSAL certificates are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license and understanding of the PERSAL system.
  • Knowledge of public service legislative frameworks such as PSA, PFMA, and PSR.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
