What You’ll Do

• Render laundry services while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collect and maintain accurate records of linen from various depots.
• Prepare and disinfect linen for washing according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment.
• Inspect, mend, and mark laundry to ensure it remains in good condition.
• Iron, fold, count, and pack laundered items, sealing them in linen bags.
• Deliver and collect linen to and from clients, ensuring accuracy in counts.
• Report any defects in laundry machines to the supervisor and maintain equipment.
• Perform all laundry-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent) with no prior experience required.
• Basic understanding of laundry operations and equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work shifts, including nights.
• Physical strength to meet the demands of the position.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Honesty and reliability in all tasks.
