What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Judiciary.
- Manage the Judge’s appointments and meetings by diarising important dates.
- Type and file judgments and ensure timely delivery to the relevant parties.
- Screen and assist visitors, addressing their queries professionally.
- Record and manage all incoming and outgoing documents.
- Prepare necessary court documentation, including court rolls for various motions.
- Maintain the Judge’s logbook and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Handle exhibits and manage court proceedings with utmost professionalism.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate is essential for this position.
- An LLB Degree or completion of a minimum of 20 modules towards an LLB or BA Law is advantageous.
- At least one year of legal secretarial experience is required.
- Successful completion of a typing test.
- A valid driver’s license will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word and research capabilities.
