#### About the Opportunity
Joburg City Theatres, a municipal entity of the City of Johannesburg, is inviting applications for a 12-month Professional Cookery Learnership. This program combines theoretical learning with practical workplace training, providing participants with a Certificate in Professional Cookery at NQF Level 4. Learners will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500.

#### Key Responsibilities
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
– Food preparation and kitchen operations
– Food safety and hygiene
– Customer service and workplace communication
– Teamwork and stock handling
– Professional conduct and hospitality operations

#### Requirements/Qualifications
– South African citizen, aged 18-35
– Unemployed and residing in Johannesburg
– Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
– English as a Grade 12 subject
– Passion for cooking and interest in the culinary industry
– Availability for full program duration
– Own transport and no criminal record
