What You’ll Do

  • Support the overall functioning of technology systems within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
  • No previous internship experience in either the public or private sector is required.
  • Knowledge of State Information Technology Agency (SITA) processes and infrastructure/network architecture design.
  • Familiarity with the Electronic Communication Transaction Act and Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, report writing, and effective planning and organizing skills.
