What You’ll Do

  • Assist in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.
  • Support the availability of essential ICT services and applications.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with ICT risk and policy standards.
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
  • No prior work experience required (candidates must not have participated in any internship program in the public or private sector).
  • Knowledge of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), Electronic Communication and Transactions Act (ECTA), Cybercrimes Act, and National Archives and Records Services Act.
  • Strong skills in financial management, communication (both written and verbal), presentation, computer literacy, analytical thinking, problem-solving, report writing, and planning and organizing.
